Never worked with Nelson's but saw the review about the crawl space thing and I used to deal with Wood Destroying Insect Reports all the time. The national chains; Orkin, Terminix, etc, are notorious for "finding" termites. What evidence, besides a $2000 invoice was given for an active infestation? Their opinion? Normally that's the case. Not saying you don't have termites or that Nelson's did a good job. However, the evidence is not enough to make a determination and I don't believe any decisions should be made based on the review alone.

Last week our lawn received the third monthly treatment from Nelson's. So far . . . so good! No weeds, no ants and the grass is green and healthy. The lawn specialist is friendly and informative and seems to take pride in his work.

I must admit, this is probably the best pest control and lawn care I have had and I had lots of them. My yard was needing replaced, so I thought. There was a neighbor in rosewood who has a beautiful lawn he told me who did it,so I thought I had nothing to lose and had my yard treated. I would not even lock myself in to a monthly service, it was on a month to month basis. I started seeing results in 2 wks. Now let me tell you some of the perks. 1. no more ants along the sidewalk because they take care of this where others charge extra. 2. Comes to my door to make sure I have no questions,and to let my dog out before he starts. 3. Waits to do lawn treatment if grass has not been cut yet, in which he returns later so its not a waisted treatment. We have had many lawn company's that water down the treatment after you are with them a while. I can tell you this, they have turned my yard completely around. I am a true believer that there are quality companys out there and this is by far one of them. It took me 12 years to find one but I did. I'm sure there is others but they are far and few between. I am a true believer in the Nelson family.

Since we moved to the Tampa area in July Nelson's has provided an outstanding service and has always been extremely responsive to our needs. I would recommend Nelson's Pest Control for anyone looking for a reliable service that delivers.

We have used Nelson's since last spring on the recommendation of our neighbor who has a beautiful lawn. We truly thought our lawn was lost...our last service started out with big promises, but every time a problem area was mentioned, we were told they couldn't do anything about it. Nelson's listens to our concerns and uses the best products for our lawn at the right times. We have been very happy...our lawn is green again!

Nelson's Pest Control was recommended to us by our neighbors because they had great results. The previous lawn service did not do a good job and knew we were out of town and not at the property daily. Since David have taken over, our grass looks great, no more dead spots and he keeps us informed by e-mail and even sends us photos. keep up the good work!

We've had Nelson's Pest Control fertilizing our lawn for over a year. After just the first few applications we noticed a greener, healthier looking lawn. One of our neighbors commented on how nice our lawn looked and asked us who was treating it. They signed up with Nelson's, and now their lawn looks great too! Since then, several more neighbors have switched to Nelson's and all have the best looking lawns in the neighborhood!

I had a house guest back in October and they left me with more than I bargained for... German Roaches came out of their bags!!! I called Nelsons after searching the web for several others in the area and actually decided to go with their annual package to stay protected being we are in Florida and it is pest nation here. Well anyways with germans it take several sprays to get rid of them as they are like radiation resistant! I must say the chemical they used got rid of them in like 2-3 sprays and it was also free of odor or danger to my family includung my 3 year old and cats and reptiles. I really like ALL of the technicians that have come out, we always chat up a storm and they are just super friendly and extremely knowledgable. We actually had our cats catch fleas because my in laws were infested and brought them over, we called Nelsons right away and the first spray they were gone. We talked our parents into using them as well after they attempted an 80 dollar DIY flea control which failed and the were INFESTED I mea you walk in and they were on you, well after the first spray guess what?? ALL GONE!! Nelsons is just great and they have AMAZING service you can't beat them I promise you!

I made one phone call to Nelson's Pest Control regarding the flea issues at my home. They acted fast, came out asap. Two follow-up visit with additional spraying were scheduled and accomplished just to ensure I was taken care of. AJ, the technician, who came to my home was both professional and couretous when answering all of my questions and supplying advice to helping eliminate the flea problems in the future. We've been working with Nelson's Pest Control since 2001. When there are so many choices in pest control companies today, there is only one reason we would stay with the same company for 10+ years - we are more than satisfied. Their service is top notch and their diligence in getting rid of the pests is appreciated. We had an issue with wolf spiders in the house several years ago. Apparently they difficult to get rid of, but Nelson's response was simply: We'll come back as many times as is needed to get rid of the problem. And they did. We'll be moving to a new house soon, but we won't be moving to a new pest control company.

When you find something that works, you stick with it. Thats exactly what I have found in Nelson's Pest Control. A full service and fully dedicated company you can rely on. My questions get answered, my lawn looks great and the service is outstanding! You can go through all the pest control companies you want, but there is only one thats going to give you the service and attention you desire. I have a healthy and weed free lawn. David Nelson is an outstanding gentlemen and I thank him and his company for there service.

Ed is very reliable and courteous, the office always calls the night before to let us know they are coming as we requested so we can make sure our dogs are not out in the yard. We tried other companies True Green and Pest Bear and they always forgot to call in edition they were not able to get rid of our weeds after five months. Nelson's had our weeds under control in two months and dollars weeds tamed by four months. They are honest, my bill is exactly what they said it would be and I chose a billing option that worked for me. Thanks so much Ed.
